MAY 1-4 TRIP TO KILGAS' & NIAGARA FALLS & McKERROWS

The first week-end in May we flew to Buffalo, NY, rented a car and drove to Greg & Jen's in NE Pennsylvania. They have a beautiful country place and have done lots of work on it! Jen has plenty of places for all her gardening and perrenials. We enjoyed the week-end with them and their boys and left Monday AM for Niagara Falls. It turned out to be a gorgeous day at the falls. We went to the Canadian side for better views and had lunch at the restaurant across from the falls. Drove on to the picturesque town of "Niagara on the Lake", took a long horse and buggy ride all around the town, and enjoyed the beautiful homes there. Had tea and a luscious dessert at a neat cafe there and then headed back for more of Niagara Falls. It was just stunning with rainbows glowing over both falls! AWESOME! Drove back to Buffalo for the night and then on to Freedom, NY the next morning to check out the project going on there and have lunch with Sally & Leon McKerrow. They invited Charlene & Laurie over too, and we had a scrumptious lunch and delightful time with them. Had to check out the latest of Sally's quilting projects! Drove back to Buffalo in the PM and flew back home that eve. A great week-end! Thanks guys!
